It’s clear to everyone that Russian President Vladimir Putin does not respect lame-duck Democratic President Barack Hussein Obama. It’s obvious that other world leaders don’t respect President Obama either, but Putin is the only one who has the guts to say it in public.
Ever year Putin puts out a New Year’s greeting, to strengthen his ties with those who he has a cooperative relationship with, such as Presidents in his region who have stood together with him to fight ISIS and other groups that threaten our culture with radical Islamic terror. Obama must have been shocked when he heard about this year’s greeting.
Vladimir Putin reached out and praised President-Elect Trump deeply, saying that on January 20th, Russia and the U.S. will finally be “acting in a constructive and pragmatic manner, will be able to take real steps to restore the mechanisms of bilateral cooperation in various areas and take their interaction in the international arena to a whole new level.”
He added, “Major global and regional challenges that our countries have confronted in recent years clearly confirm that Russia-US relations are an important factor in ensuring stability and security in the modern world.”
Guess who Putin didn’t mention even once? Barack Obama. This is no small snub, since he sent greetings to, among others: George W. Bush and George H.W. Bush, Pope Francis, former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, Britain’s Queen Elizabeth, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Ouch! How much do you love the fact that Putin totally snubbed Obama, even though he’s still the President?
